Where our facts come from
- Apple's own documentation and support pages for settings, menu paths and iOS features.
- Carmakers' owner manuals and support pages for car-specific steps.
- Manufacturers' published specifications for adapters and accessories.
- Recurring reports from owners on public forums (r/CarPlay, Apple Community) — presented as owner reports, not as our measurements.
Where an article states a fact that isn't common knowledge, we link to the source. We do not run a test lab, and we don't describe results as our own hands-on testing unless we actually did it.
Our own app
Some guides mention Car Play Connect: Auto Sync. Everything we say about it comes from its App Store listingand the app itself. We point out when a free built-in iOS setting already solves the problem. We don't accept payment for placement or recommendations in articles, and we don't use affiliate links.
Updates and corrections
