1. Agreement to terms
By accessing or using https://addcarwidgets.com (“the Site”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use this Site, and at least the age of majority in your jurisdiction to enter into a binding contract. If you are using the Site on behalf of an organization, you represent you have authority to bind that organization.
3. The Site and the app
The Site provides guides, articles, comparisons, and information related to Apple CarPlay, iOS, related accessories, and our Car Play Connect: Auto SynciOS application. The Site is informational. The iOS application is distributed and governed solely through the Apple App Store under Apple's Standard EULA, unless we explicitly publish separate terms inside the app.
4. License to use the Site
We grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Site for personal, non-commercial use. You may not:
- Scrape, crawl, or harvest content other than for permitted indexing by recognized search engines.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or extract underlying source code.
- Use the Site or its content to train machine-learning models without a separate written agreement.
- Use the Site to send unsolicited communications, distribute malware, or commit any unlawful act.
- Misrepresent your affiliation with us, our affiliates, or any third party including Apple Inc.
5. Intellectual property
All content on the Site — including text, graphics, layouts, logos, illustrations, and code — is owned by addcarwidgets or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. “addcarwidgets” and our logo are our trademarks. “Apple,” “CarPlay,” “iPhone,” and “iOS” are trademarks of Apple Inc.; we use them descriptively to refer to those products. Our use does not imply endorsement, sponsorship, or affiliation.
6. User submissions
If you submit feedback, suggestions, ideas, or testimonials (collectively, “Submissions”) to us, you grant us a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable, transferable license to use them for any lawful purpose, including publishing them on the Site. You represent that your Submissions do not violate any third party's rights.
7. Third-party links and affiliate disclosures
The Site contains links to third-party websites, products, and services. We do not control those resources and are not responsible for their content, accuracy, or practices. Some outbound links may be affiliate links — if you purchase through them, we may earn a commission at no additional cost to you. We disclose affiliate relationships where required by law (FTC guidelines and equivalent regulations).
8. App Store and in-app purchases
The Car Play Connect: Auto Sync app is available for download via the Apple App Store. All transactions, subscriptions, in-app purchases, refunds, and billing are handled by Apple under its Standard EULA. We do not process payments directly on this Site at this time. If we add a web-based subscription product in the future, additional terms will apply and be presented at checkout.
9. Disclaimers
The Site and its content are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses. Articles and guides are informational only and not professional advice — verify critical information (vehicle compatibility, legal status of devices in your jurisdiction) before acting.
10. Driving safety
Use of CarPlay, mobile devices, and dashboard mounts while driving is regulated in many jurisdictions. Always comply with local laws. Do not interact with your phone, CarPlay screen, or any mounted device in a manner that distracts you from driving. We are not responsible for any consequences of distracted or unlawful operation of a vehicle.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, addcarwidgets and its officers, employees, and contractors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your use of the Site. Our total liability for any claim arising out of or related to the Site is limited to USD $100.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless addcarwidgetsfrom any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the Site, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of any third-party right.
13. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Site at any time, with or without notice, for any reason — including violation of these Terms. Sections relating to intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and dispute resolution survive termination.
14. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Site will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in the United States, and you consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts. Nothing in this section prevents either party from seeking injunctive relief for the protection of intellectual property.
15. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the revised version with an updated effective date. Material changes will be announced via the Site banner. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
